It’s very important to know what you’re putting into your body. We only get one body in this life so treat it well. It needs to endure. The goal is to live a long and healthy life. Healthy is the key word. If you live a long life and you’re not healthy, that can be a very heavy load to carry for yourself and your family. My wish is for everyone to be healthy.
About 10 years, while browsing through my local health foods store, I happened upon Celtic Sea Salt. I became curious so I decided to do some research and learn what I could about it. What I learned was pretty amazing. After that I ditched regular table salt that very day and never looked back!
Celtic Sea Salt
Celtic Sea Salt is farmed on coastal areas in France by traditional organic salt farmers under the highest quality standards originating back 2000 years. The salt is produced without refining, oven drying or chemical additives. It is grey, not white. The color comes from the clay found in the salt flats in the sea. The salt is collected by hand using traditional Celtic methods.

Table salt has synthetic chemicals added to it. These chemicals include everything from manufactured forms of sodium solo-co-aluminate, iodide, sodium bicarbonate, fluoride, anti-caking agents, toxic amounts of potassium iodide and aluminium derivatives. Table salt is also colored with bleach. And if all of this isn’t bad enough, most people don’t know that common table salt comes from the actual flaky residue from oil digging.
Common table salt causes high blood pressure and water retention. It wreaks havoc on the the body’s circulatory, nervous, and lymphatic systems. It is also addictive in that the more the body becomes used to the high levels of fake sodium, the more it craves it.
